                                                      A Teacher’s Qualifications
People want to recognize around since they opened their eyes to world. Over time, this desire becomes a conscious learning activity. They attempt to obtain information from the family. Parents are in a position as teacher. As long as they grow, they need to learn new knowledge and skills in a systematic and planned way. In this case, individuals need someone who will provide them to guide for this information in a planned way. These guides are teachers. As new things arise to learn, teachers who will teach new things should have some qualifications. These qualifications are to being aware of something, being expert in their branches and being learner-centered.
First, awareness is a qualification which teacher should have. A teacher who has this qualification is aware of behaviors which cause problems among students in the classroom.  For example, one of the students has a problem with her/his friends or her/his family. He/she can intuit these problems which cause student to fail in the courses and can intervene against them. He/she cares about feelings and students. He shows this with his behaviors and utterances. When the students say something, he supports their ideas with positive comments. In this way, he pulls them into the learning process. At the same time, he or she follows new developments in the education system.  Also, he/she communicates with other teachers and people in order to be more useful to the students.
Second, it is clear that a teacher should be an expert in his or her branch. If he/ she is an expert, he or she does not panic. A discussion in the classroom does not scare her/his. His behaviors are serious and consistent and he does not distinguish among students. He uses his body language and voice which everyone can hear easily.  He is prepared for his lessons and he prepares a detailed schedule for lessons. Also, he gives importance to Professional rules and moral values. Additionally, he relies on students to be successful and encourages them to study with groups for their aims and achievements.
Lastly, a teacher should be learner-centered. A teacher who has this qualification is aware of students’ need. He should prepare unit and daily lesson program according to students’ need. He should provide students’ participation in lessons and should intervene the event when it is necessary. Education is meaningful for the students when he behaves like that. He tries to recognize students particularly. Therefore, he participates in activities of school and interacts with students. At the same time, he gives students opportunity to guide and control the learning process. Also, he discovers the best features which students have and draws attention to these features.

In conclusion, teachers should have some features which  are to being aware of something, being expert in their branches and being learner-centered. Education has an important role in life. Even though it starts in the family, it continuous in the school as it is inadequate and not planned in the family. The teachers undertake this task.
